Software Technical Lead

As a Software Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering cutting-edge software for custom-made machines based on function specifications and overall automation designs. Leading a team of experienced designers, you will contribute to the success of our projects and uphold our commitment to excellence.

You will be responsible for software design in the projects and collaborate cross functional with the mechanical and electrical Tech Leads. You will secure progress in the projects by excellent planning and following up on progress using the existing process tools and contributing to their development. You will be cost responsible for the project and follow up on hour consumption vs. progress.

As Software Technical Lead you will be a role model to the Execution team:

  • Ensuring that the Stevanato stage gate project model is utilized successfully in the project from project start-up to final qualification.
  • Participating in the development of a visible project controlling process.
  • Ensuring that project controlling will be a part of the daily design decision process.
  • Ensuring that the project team members are guided by the company values: Trust and respect everyone; be accountable; be ethical, listen and communicate with transparency and honesty.

You will lead the Execution team based on Stand-up meetings, being responsible for all project data on the team boards, that the data is evaluated, actions are defined, scoping the tasks and follow up on the execution. You will facilitate feedback on the performance of the execution engineers and consultants, develop their competences and secure the right motivation.

Your Profile:

  • Experience with project management and software design.
  • Degree in Automation Engineering or a related field, or a background as an electrician, automation technician, or similar.
  • Experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, B&R, etc.), HMI, servo- and robotic systems.
  • Experience as a team lead or manager
  • Proficient in English.
